crazy radio/power-window problem

I have a 1997 pontiac firebird with power windows and the big monsoon cd sound system. This car does a crazy thing that I have yet to figure out. When the ignition is on, the radio and power windows will lose power (always at the same time). This happens without warning, and can be fixed by hitting the dash just above the radio (sometimes this works...sometimes not). A bump in the road will have the same effect. I have checked all fuses, and pulled the radio out to just look around for loose connections; still I have this problem. It seems curious that the radio and power windows would be on the same circuit. Please someone help. What is the problem with this demon car?

sounds like a igniton switch problem. since both circuit would be on the accesory circuit.
