inconsistent stalling/starting problem

every once in a WHILE in my 89' formula 350 TPI, the car will stall, then when i go to start it, it will not turn over at all, it will just click. or other times it will just not turn over when i go to start it up period (not following a stall).

1) could this be a bad ignition module?
2) if so, why does it only happen once every few months???
3) when i try it a few hours later, it always works fine, why!?!?!

(ignition module is the only thing in the car i havent touched since i bought it. the car currently has 260,000+ miles)
(i have the summit pro-torque mini starter, installed it about a year and a half ago)

THANKS!

Sounds like a starter to me, but those ignition modules are tricky. Just pull it and take it to O' Reillys to test it (for free)

All you have to do is take the dist. cap off and pull it
