brake lights wont turn off

Axle/Gears: posi disc 3.23's
brake lights wont turn off
when i turn my car off the brake lights stay on. where should i look first for a short? is there a fuse for the back lights? i tried the one labeled 'tail' but that did nothing

Transmission: T5 / t10 / Jerico
Axle/Gears: 10blt w 3.42, 9 in w /3.80 DL
Check the switch that makes contact with the brake pedal. It is bad or out of adjustment. easy fix

thanks SDIF, it was that. the little switch isnt broken, its the clip that holds it in place. can you get that at lordco?
