Ignition Issue!
Ok enough is enough!
My 91 Z28 (LB9) has been giving me problems for a while now. It's a series of problems that I've been fixing since the previous owner neglected them horribly. With out giving a long sob story and the cars entire history, here's the problem:
The runs/drives for a while till it gets hot, than begins to idle rough and will stall, often times unable to start again. I know I have a vacuum leak via the EGR which I am in the process of replacing however, the EGR I don't think is the problem in this case. Someone suggested it may be a fuel pump, but if it is why doesn't it do it all the time? Is the fuel pump capable of overheating? My friend suggested it may be the ignition control module. I need help before I go tearing either area of the car apart to look. And yes I do get an SES light on usually before it stalls. Please Help!
