power mirror problem

power mirror problem
I have a mirror problem the mirrors work with the switch but only work side to side.So I had a extra switch so I put it on they went up and down but would not go side to side. So I bought a new switch from MDM and I'm back where I started side to side but no up and down. Has this been a problem befor any ideal on how to fix it?
