new alternator
i need a new alternator for my 89 rs. want to pipck one up from the junk yard. what can i take one from. need a pretty good one to run my two amps. thanks for the help.

Is there something wrong with your existing one, or do you just need one that'll provide more current?

nothing wrong now but will need a better one. will be running street glow two amps and some other things
going to the junk yard tomorrow and want to pick on eup if i can.

You're probably not going to find anything much better than what you've already got in a junkyard. If you're going to need that much juice, you'll probably have to go aftermarket.
