anyone know where i can get a 50-60 Hz squarewave generator

I need a 50-60 HZ squarewave generator to bypass my VATS, where can I get it from, and after I get it, how do I install it in my firebird?

Are you just wanting to bypass the VATS key? Does youe key have the square metaal/plastic tab insert just below the head?

I think it might be easier and cheaper to disable it in the actual chip.

A stupid question but wouldn't it be better to fix any VATS trouble you might be experiencing than bypass/disable the system completely? It's there for a reason. Once it is gone, any idiot can start your car with a brick.

well, see, here is my problem, I dont have ANY keys to the car at all! I bought the car from a local bank, and for some gay(excuse the expression) reason, they didnt try to replace the key or even get a spare when giving the loan to the person who got the car. So I bought the car for 500 bucks, figuring that the whole no key thing wouldnt be that bad, but i figured out that it gets pretty expensive, and gives you a few headaches.....so, what else have you guys got???Any kind of help would be just awesome. I have the fuel pump ran to a switch and I got the thing to turn over, I just cant get the injectors to work.....Im not neccessarily wanting to get rid of the system forever, just for now until I get the cash to take the car up to the gm dealer so I can get a new lock cylinder and keys and get the ecm reprogrammed for that.....I dont really want to drop a hundred bucks getting it towed up there and then pay them to do what they are gonna do. Do you think I'm going about this the right way....any suggestions would be just great.

Im still researching, but I do know there are only 15 values that the resistor on the key can be. The dealer can also look up by the VIN and tell which key it had.
