2 problems that have me stumped
Hi all. I have 2 electrical problems that I can't seem to figure out.
1: My turn signals will not blink on their own. The bulbs light up and go on and off when i manually blink them but will not blink on their own. The 4 way flashers work however.
2: I just installed aftermarket gauges into the car and the only leads I could find were the ones to the speedo. Can someone shed some light on what wires I should be looking for to connect to my new speedometer?
Thanks
P.S.: I have a Camaro dash in the car now. I don't know if that makes a difference for these problems but just wanted to say that just in case.
Thanks again,
Rich

Wiring pinouts for 86-92 Firebird electonic dash, from the tech board on this site; http://www.hioutput.com/tech/circuits/86pinouts.html
You might want to review the entire article;
http://www.hioutput.com/tech/speedo.html
At least it'll give you a start on identifying the wiring colors and their functions.
