Cleaning
I have a problem with my eletrical system. The battery is being drained fairly quick and I have no idea why. The engine bay looked like crap when I bought the car and I have spent hours cleaning it.
I would like to try to clean and maybe even replace the different connections as well. I am pretty sure that I cant just poor some nice hot water on the connections and use "kaboom" soap (that guarantees that everything will be as new...) to clean.
what should I do?

Re: Cleaning
I just went over a couple of the relays and i just unplugged them and connected them again. However. I did figure out that the ground from the battery was kind of loose. Could that be the reason for some of the problems?

Re: Cleaning
A loose battery ground can give you problems, don't know what kind you had though..
Provided you disconnect the battery you can use soap & water to wash the contacts any way you like, just flush well with clean water afterwards & use compressed air to make sure they are completely dry (inside) before applying power.
