I was poking through the Self-Service yard (Favorite pass-time activity) and found a gauge cluster i have never seen before, it Had a 85mph/??Kmph double needle speedo, and 3-4 little gauges in the middle with (for lack of a better term) Digital needles. On the other side was a fuel gauge, it was also a double needle gauge with gallons and litres. Is this worth getting? Is it rare?

 

sounds a bit canadianish to me! might prove worthy to sell, how much would the place ask for it?

 

I think about 15 bucks... just seemed kind of cool...

hell grab it and sell it for $30, shouldn't be hard, just might be a while to find someone searching for one.

 

Grab it, I have a nice 82-83 Camaro 4 speed shift plate I cannot get rid of but I know someone will need it one day

 

It's not rare, every 82-84 car base model Camaro without gauges had it.

 

It sounds like you're describing what my 84 Camaro SC had. Sort of like teeter-totter gauges. The speedo had one side in mph and the other in km/h. As the mph side went up, the km/h side went down, etc.

I didn't think they were cool though, just really base-model-ish feeling.

 

Yeah, ill just leave it. The whole "Digital Needle" thing threw me off.. thanks for info

 

Those aren't gauges in the middle, they're idiot lights.
