Re: help with strobes

you need the control unit to amplify the signal to a much higher voltage. I'll check my kit i got from them 2morrow if i can find it. I think the red is positive and black is negative, and white is the signal, but i'm most likely completely wrong. I'll check it out for you tomorrow.

Re: help with strobes

i don't know if the kit will be strong enough to run all four, i mean it probably will, but it won't be as bright obviously. Yea i do know if you don't have the control module for it then i don't know of a way to get them to operate as they are supposed to. They aren't like LEDs or any other kind of light device that you put power to it and it just works, the control module controls the flashing.

Re: help with strobes

yea i check it out, i still believe red is positive, black is ground, and the white is the signal of some sort, but either way you need the control box to use them properly and to put enough power to them to make them work in the first place, so buying another kit is probably the best idea.

Re: help with strobes

are they strobes or LED flashers, because this is a huge difference. Also, are they meant to be trailer lights? If so, white is ground.

Re: help with strobes

true, anything is possible until he takes pics really, because if they are LEDs you don't need the control box i'm talking about and if you do have real Strobes, then you need a box

Re: help with strobes

yea, its not just plug and play with strobe lights. You will need the main control box to go along with them for them to function properly. Also, my guess is that one of those 3 wires is an optional synchronizing wire, probably the white one.
