Re: burnt connector/relay

here are 2 pictures of the burnt connectors and relay on passanger firewall. looks like a 2-part connector w/ 4 wires.

stamp on the relay looks like part number 10037901 625?

Re: burnt connector/relay

bump -- need help finding a replacement -- no fan at all; unplugged relay, was still warm. we couldn't identify this relay even after searching the Wells catalogs & trying to order one. here is an updated description:

this radiator fan relay has 2 connectors each with 2 wires that plug into it. its mounted on the passanger side fender near the collant tank/battery.
It's from an '87 LG4 Z28.
the relay is stamped w/ part number 10037901 6154
here are pics from bottom of relay

anyone know what relay that is?

Re: burnt connector/relay

Looks and awful lot like the relay for the fog lights. Might be the same. Look at Ecklers at the pic of the fog light relay for your car. Their tech line may be able to help on the amperage. Alot of times the relay itself may have extra pins that are not used on the square ones. Worth a look see anyway.
