Plumber trying to be an electrician...HELP!!

I just bought two doors off a guy with power everything in them. My 86 Z28 doesnt have any power accesories on it. So Ive been reading through the forums over the last couple of days. One said that there should allready be plugs on the factory harness under the dash pad near the firewall in a conduit. I checked and all that is running through it is one white wire....no plugs. Anyway it looks like I'll have to wire this stuff in from scratch. I ordered the power window switches online today so I should be ready to tackle this in a couple days. Any tips or suggestions would be greatly appreciated

Best way is to get a DEI window switch. Can't remeber the part number!

It is like a built in 2relay programable window controler. WAY easler and cleaner than 2 relays with 10wires? PLEASE trust me on that one. Allso nice cuz it can be programed to one tap of the button puts the window all the way up or down. And helps to not burn out the motors as when it sees the window hit and resistance it stops. Mount it say in the center console and every wire is color coded and easy to hook up.

If you just want 2 relays I can help with that to as that is a 87 87a revese polarity setup.

Do you want the switches to have power all the time or only when the key is in?

No it is a and on piece for a alarm/remote start. but can be wired in without and controled with just the buttons(stock) for the windows.

I like it over relays b/c of the extra control. And if you and a alarm or keyless in the future it is as easy a one wire hook up to have full control.

Like when you lock/arm the car window automaticly go up or tap the AUX on a keypad and the window will crack 3" on hold AUX for 2sec. longer and they will roll down. Plus much more.

Very nice piece and Directed is like the Microsoft of car electronics. They are the BEST and Biggest. In fact Best Buy and CC sell that part. And they should be able to hook it up<LOL

I have had them on all my cars in the past and loved it. And if I remeber right there are dip switches on the side of the box that do programing so anyone can do it.

As I said I will help on the wiring! But it is marked "input wire down" "power" and so on.
