Horn circuit
How hard is it to run a new circuit for a horn? My current 87 Formula has no horn, took cover off to see why and the black wire broke from the column. When I touch the inside of the column where the wire broke it sounds the horn but does not stop until I remove it. So thats why i am wondering if its easy to run a new circuit?

Re: Horn circuit
it would be just as easy to go to the JY get a few pieces and then disassemble the upper end of the steering column and repair the stock horn wiring.
You will need a steering wheel puller and a lock plate removal tool, both are available as a loaner tools at many auto part chains
from the JY i would get the horn contact ring that goes under the steering lockplate and the cam locked springloaded adapter that attaches to it, the adapter has the pigtail that goes to the horn button.
remove horn button, remove nut and c clip from shaft pull wheel, pull lock plate, repair/replace whats needed and then put it back together.
