My camaro shuts off!

ok, this is going to be a little vauge, but I wanna ask anyway. I have a 91 camaro and every now and then when i am driving, (doesnt matter if its spirited or not), when i start from a stop, the motor will start to surge and cause the car to buck. sometimes its mild but then sometimes its violent. My mechanic and I have deduced it to be because of a wireing problem located on the PS along the feul injectors. When it is bucking, I have to pull over and I then jiggle the PS Rail wireing. Sometimes it causes the motor to make a weird sound and shut off, while other times it causes the motor to smooth back out. Other than that problem, the motor runs fine, and I try to keep it in good condition. Does anyone know what might be shorting out? or is there possably an obvious solution? (other than just buying a new wireing harness).
Any advice is definetly appreciated...
