Re: fuses
Mine was doing the same thing. Take the lighter part out of the cigarette lighter, and set it aside. Put in a new fuse. If it doesn't pop it, you need to replace the whole lighter assembly. (you could probably fiddle with it, clean it and such, but I recommend replacing it) They cost about $6.00 at napa, or somewhere similar.
Re: fuses
dont know if youre asmoker or not but one sure fire way to eliminate the prob is to replace that 20 amp fuse with a circuit breaker fuse. solved mine no problem ever again. fuse cools in seconds and resets.

Re: fuses
Guess it's common... If I plug something in mine it bends something inside of it and causes it to short and blow a fuse. But I dont want the cigarette lighter part I want to find something else to plug in it I just haven't found that something yet.

Re: fuses
You said you kept repacing the fuse. I'm having a hard time figuring out which one is for th cig lighter. I'm assuming it's ACC for accessories. Mine says it's a 20a fuse, I looked and it's a 10a in the 20a spot. Dome light comes on, but no cig lighter. Is this the right one though? Is it the ACC one? I'll change it out tomorrow, thanks.
