I think I pulled something I shouldnt have
I finished pulling the ECM and all the wiring harness associated with it out of my 82 crossfire tonight
Well I think I pulled something out I shouldn't have. It was under the dash right where the ECM housing is. It is on a triangular bracket and it helped hold part of the under dash up. It is in a abs housing with two bolts diagonally holding it to the metal triangular bracketry. I could not tell if the wires going to it were part of the ecm harness or not. I think .... think it was.
It has a part number across the top that reads 16(something maybe a 1) 24701.
has a big C8 on it
Has delco electronics on it as well.
I am thinking it may have something to do with the Fan maybe. You know the fan that blows air inside the car.
Can anyone help me on at least identifying this thing?
