headlights won't stay on

I have an 88 GTA with a 350 out of a 78 chevy pick up. Needless to say none of the electronics work. I have an aftermarket thermal fan switch that gets its readings from the radiator fins just below the top radiator hose. I guess I need to mention I have the dual fan set up. and when the headlights are on and the car warms up...the fans come on and the headlights go out for about 15 sec and then back on for 15 sec, and so on and so forth

LIGHT NOT RIGHT

The circuit breaker in the headlight switch is cycling.
It might be a bad breaker or the circuit is drawing too much.
Get an ammeter to verify.

Re: headlights won't stay on

Replace the headlight switch, the breaker is an integral part of it.
