Stock Tach Question?
So I have a quick question that I couldn't seem to find the answer to...
I'm running a stock tach, but where do I hook it up??
I just recently did an engine build, and I've read that hooking up the white (negative) coil wire from the stock harness to your current coil negative is how it's supposed to be hooked up, but my tach is all over the place! Correct me if I'm wrong, or maybe it's just a poor connection?
Thanks guys.

Re: Stock Tach Question?
There should be a tach input on your MSD box.
Mine does, although I've got my soft touch rev
box plugged in there.

Re: Stock Tach Question?
If you have an MSD you need to plug it into the tach terminal on the MSD box.

Re: Stock Tach Question?
Okay now that I've made myself look like an idiot, I got my tach hooked up to the output on my msd box. The tach is dead on now, still a little jumpy, but It'll do the job until the autometer cluster takes over.
