well i thought the speedometer swap out would go easily today but i failed miserably. replaced old speedo with a broken needle to break the needle off the replacement. after all is said and done i put the keys in the ignition and the key buzzer never goes off unless i really push the keys in hard. i start the car and the usual buzzer goes off but wont stop.. i removed the fuse that controls the buzzer but the brake lights also share the same fuse so that wont work. i removed the steering wheel so i could put the speedo cluster back in after struggling with trying to force it in and out past the steering wheel. ok im lost and need help if anyone knows how to fix this buzzing or to elminate the switch all together let me know i really appreciate it

 

i just took my buzzer out a couple weeks ago...its above your right knee when your sittin in the drivers seat. pull that panel off. its the size of a pack of cigs. my car is a 89 rs...so it should be the same
