Is this a symptom of a specific problem?
I have an 87 Iroc convertible. Everything is stock so I am told. The tach needle has started a new & odd habit of pointing between 10 & 15 when I turn the car off & remove the key. When I replace the key and turn it forward, the tac needle goes back to zero. Its nothing I cannot live with but, I have been having some issues with the battery dying every day and was wondering if it was all related (battery has been replaced & is new).
Also while trying to research this problem, I have seen several articles that refer to tech articles. Where do I find these tech articles?

Here's a link to the Tech Article page.
Regarding the tach... I know on my dad's El Camino, the tach always rests around 10 or so with the key off. I don't know about the Camaro's... Just never bothered to notice... I guess I could go out to the garage real quick and find out, though...
EDIT:
Well, the tach on my '89 is sitting at the 250rpm mark. Hmm, I dunno, but if it started doing this right around when you started having battery issues, there could be a possibility that they're related.

Thanks for the link to the tech article page. I have seen that before. I just didnt know if I was missing anything w/regard to additional "how to" articles. The tach on the car remains a mystery. It did not always do that.
