Messed up RPM gauge and turn signals
I have a 91 camaro and the needle on the RPM just stays as far past 7000 as it will go when the car is off or on. It just goes to the top while im starting it up but just sits past 7000 the whole time. anyone know how to fix that? That and Im having trouble with the turn signals, there not comming on. Can anyone help out? I need a lot of help with the electrical if anyone knows how to fix it.

Re: Messed up RPM gauge and turn signals
There's a whole thread on the 90-92 tachometer fix. Right here: https://www.thirdgen.org/forums/elec...meter-fix.html
For the turn signals, check the TURN-B/U fuse, check the flasher (next to the fusebox), try the hazard signals.
Hope this helps.

Thanks, that helps with the Tachometer.
the hazards on the car work fine but the right turn signal doesnt turn on, neither do the high brights either.

Turn signals - try swapping the hazard flasher (in the convenience center) with the regular flasher (on the side of the fuse box). See what happens.
Brights - maybe this tech article will help: http://www.austinthirdgen.org/index.php?pid=16 It could be that your hi/lo beam switch is out of adjustment.
Hope this helps.

Yup, that helped with the high brights, I dont know where to find the fuses for the turn signals though. I did notice that when I click the swith to make a right, the back light comes on but doesnt blink, and the front light doesnt even come on. Can you tell me where the fuses would be from the turn lights on a 91?

Re: Messed up RPM gauge and turn signals
The fuses are in the same location on all models/years: above the clutch pedal (or where that one would be) behind a small plastic cover. A flashlight helps see the fuse labeling.
The turn signal fuse is labeled TURN B/U but if your right rear turn signal lights up, I'd say that the fuse is good and you're looking at bad bulbs.
Is this a new car to you with lots of problems?
Also, it helps to fill out some profile information, such as vehicle, location etc. No, it's not required, it just helps.
And welcome to the club, btw!
