Turn Signal Problems

I have an 1986 camaro and was wondering if you guys could help me. I have just recently replaced my ignition lock cylinder and before i replaced that my turn signals where working fine. Now the left one is slower than normal. And my right one is fine. my friend says it could be the flasher. But i was wondering if theres is anyway to find out if thats the problem. And where is it located at. Thanks

The flasher uses the same thermocouple for left and right.

Therefore it shouldn’t be that.

Check all the bulbs for proper operation.

If they all work make sure they are the same brand / age.
