Turn Signals and running lights dont work.......
Ok i have a 1991 RS. originally a 305 tbi now its a 350 tbi.
Today me and my friend decided to drive up on top of the parking garage and snap some night shots of our cars. However, when taking the pics my friend noticed my running lights were not on, he asked me to put them on and i thought they were on, the **** was pulled out halfway. seems like they are not working. the rear tails work fine and the headlights come on but the running lights do not. When i put the turn signal on the front blinker flashes(both sides respectivly) but the side marker never flashes (again both sides). All during this the headlights and tails work. The only two that dont work are my side markers(never come on) and my front running lights(only come on when turn signal is activated). Awhile ago i pulled my aftermarket alarm system out and it was wired into the headlights. I spliced some wires but it seems like if it was an electrical wiring problem then they would not work at all. I touched the ignition wire, a ground wire, a power supply wire and two wires going towards the headlights. I dont have a wiring diagram so i dont know which wires to check, all my fuses are fine also.

might want to check for broken bulbs and flasher first. start there before getting into wires and such.

Forgot to add that the bulbs are fine too, i checked them out. They look brand new and were put in about 6 months ago anyways. Its just puzzling me as to why they work sometimes, but not others.

Since you say that tail lights work and front bulbs are good, I'd check the voltage on the brown wire on any of the front sockets. If you have no voltage there (with the lights on, of course
), you might have a broken brown wire somewhere.
The brown wire travels from the dash to the bulkhead connector C100 (on the driver side), through the firewall next to the brake booster, along the driver side fender, to the driver lights, then traverses to the passenger lights.
Hope this helps.

Does the same brown wire feed to the front turn signals? Or just to the side markers?
