Daily Driver Down Need Help! Where MAT/IAT plugs into 87/88 TPI harness
Desperate for help here! Someone please post me some photos!!!!
I have an 87 GTA originally LB9 swaped in 88 L98. My car is sputtering under any kind of load. If not under load (in park) it will not sputter.
Heres what I have changed
Coil
Ignition Control Module
Fuel Pump
Fuel Filter
MAF Sensor
Fuel Pump Relay
Cap
Plugs
Plug Wires
Spark Plugs
O2 Sensor
I unhooked the MAF Power relay and noticed an imediate diff (the car had a hard time idleing) so I hooked it back up and it idled fine.
I do have a lower intake leak (antifreeze) and a very small fuel rail leak. Ive been told that these should not have anything to do with the sputtering.
I do notice a vacum loss when the car gets hot at low rpm. Mainly with the brakes. Could the intake leak have anything to do with that.
Also I have a code 23 MAT/IAT sensor. I have found that my sensor is unplugged. This may solve my problem. Can anyone send me a photo to show me where this hooks into the harness. Here are some photos of the MAT/IAT and some other stuff not plugged into my harness.

Another plug that has no home!

This the area where the fuel rail leak is.

Here is a plug on the drivers side of the engine that is not pluged into anything.

Also heres a link with some more detailed description of my problems. I posted this a week or so ago but it ran out of steam.

Also someone has cut off the fuel tank check valve. With this missing is there a possiblity that the valve be the source of my problem? Heres a photo of another car showing where it is.

By the way I am going to get the intake and fuel rail stuff fixed within a week or so but if I can get this tackled first I would like to.
