kill switch idea please help

I have an old defrost switch and was thinkging about using it for a kill switch anyone think it will work and also how would I wire this up thanks

The defrost switch has a timer in it.

That would make it unusable as a standard killer.

But you could modify it.

The fuel pump wires is one way to do it.

The pump wires (tan/white stripe) run thru the conduit on the left side, under the sill panel carpet left of the seat.
