Need help with wire setup

Ok can someone show me a pic of there distributor with spark plug wires connected so i can get the order set up because i forgot to mark them when i took them off please help me.

1-8-4-3-6-5-7-2 (clockwise)

#1 is usually about 5:00 o'clock (assuming 12:00 is the center of the windshield).

Ok well since you said bout 5 o clock does it start where the wires connect to the distributor for the car. And thank you for the order.

The connectors are about 1:00 on mine. The right way to do it is to find TDC (top dead center) on #1 (when the piston is all the way up and the valves were closed on it's way up).

thank you for that picture that was very helpful and i dont have time to find all the tdc and stuff well i do i just dont want to do it cuz i have other stuff that needs done.
