ughh. screwed up with some wires

today i started my over complicated project of adding an amp & speakers to my car. when i was taking off the center console, there were two wires one orange the other red that were looped through a metal bracing that went the width of the console. me being both completely new to this kind of stuff (new as in first time doing any kind of thing like this) and i wiggled off the black wires that went to the small red wire. about a minute after i had started to tackle the bigger wire i realized that i could just unplug the wires instead of what i had been doing.

doing this i got a little carried away with cutting the zip ties that holds both the wire and the two little black boxes together. i cut both pairs of boxes and their wire. and then still without thinking too much i went and just reattached it from what i thought i remembered.

my question is did i do anything horrible? is there any way for me to check to see if i did it right/wrong?

AARRRGGGHHH ! ! ! ! !

If everything still works in the car, and no warning lights come on, you spliced the wires correctly.

How bout those nitwits too scared to drive without headlights in the daytime, and the nitwits that need headlights for a little rain
