yup, you need to either check three things. Either one of your door switch triggers is grounding out somewhere, or your headlight switch is going bad. Try twisting the **** left and right over and over agian to see if your can jar out any foreign pieces of metal shavings that may of fallen and closed a circuit within the light switch. I can tell you the problem is there in either one of the 3. Should be an easy find bro.

Hello shatterme18!!

Just asking, did you try turning the dome light off with the headlight switch?????

Sometimes the switch gets turned when you touch it, for whatever reason, and it becomes the too obvious, that's overlooked!!!

Re: dome light problem

did twisting the switch like everyone else said work? if not, try taking off the cover and wiggling the part that holds the bulb..i know its a bit different, but mine wont stay on, its a bad connection in the light holder for me. or, its kid of a long shot, but one of your door switches (the ones that get pushed in when you shut the door) could have somehow got broken. check those too. good luck.. oh you might also try unplugging your negative battery cable for a few mins and hooking it back up. those are the first things id check.

Wiggling the part that holds the bulb does no good for the issue at hand. The circuit is closed, so how would wiggling it open the circuit? The problem lies in either the door switches, or the switch at the head light ****. Also disconnecting the battery does no good. The light is on because of a problem in the wiring, not volatile memory.
