battery not charing NEED HELP!

Engine: 5.7L 350 all old skool
Transmission: 700r4
Axle/Gears: stock
battery not charing NEED HELP!
i have an 87 z28 i have 350 in it out of an impala and its not charing i have a brand new alt and batt. i have 3 wire connector i have one wir for exciter one going to the starter one that is just taped off. there is no fan relay i have that manual. the stud on the alt i have going to the pos side of the battery and it wont charge need help asap thank you

The heavier red wire goes to the positive stud.
The thinner red wire goes to terminal S (the sensing circuit).
The brown wire goes to terminal T (the turn-on input).
