No Spark 1992 Camaro 350 TBI
Will the VATS cause you not to have no spark?
My son decided he wanted a 1992 Camaro. So I helped him buy one from his saved money. Car was running fine but just stopped while at a light. Started up. But now it did the same thing and will not start. I checked for fuel and saw the injectors spitting out gas. Checked for a spark but did not have one. I've replaced the external coil the electronic control module at base of distributor and the dis. cap and rotor. Bought an inline spark tester and still no spark and now I see no fuel. Dealer checked key key is good.

The VATS is not the problem.
Disconnect the 4 terminal connector at the distributor.
Is there any spark now?

Pickup Line
Grab a test light (the type for testing for voltage, not a continuity tester).
Clip the lead of the test light to ground.
Probe the coil primary wires on the outermost portion of the coil.
Have someone crank the engine.
Does the test light flash?

That’s not consistent with a VATS problem.
