where.what are these wires?????

well i took my dash out to replace it and i found these wires here (1st pic) and i cant figure out where they go. where they sit when the dash was on was in the middle at the top part (above climate control pod) of the center consle. nothing is missing a connection. any ideas?

the 2nd pic is from my engine bay, passenger side, by the a/c condiser (?) anywas theres no play in that wire, its so short. and yet again everything appears to be hooked up so any ideas ont hat one?

the car is a 1992 rs camaro 305/auto, heavy opitioned.

No clue about the first pic, but the second one is your fuel pump prime. It doesnt plug into anything, but if you apply a 12v source to it, it will run the fuel pump. If you trace it, you'll end up at your fuel pump relay.

ooo yyaaaa it works, strongly. but ya i cant find where they hook to, its wierd. i now there where some options my car doesnt have (clock in the center consle(?)) (power mirrios)(power seats)(daytime running lamps)(car alarm)(anti theif uber cool radio thing that came with other camaros)(speed sencor for the road noise)(ect ect ect) but these wires are just in a wierd location at first i thought they could do something with the radio but they are to short, then i thought daytime running lamps but yet again to short. its just so wierd.

Re: where.what are these wires?????

The first two are for some option specific to camaros. Something in the console IIRC. Firebirds dont get them

The fuel pump prime connector is for diagnostics purposes. The fuel pump not working can be caused by alot of issues and bypassing all control to directly hotwire the relay quickly is pretty handy. This isnt a 3rd gen specific function, nearly all of GM cars have this, even several newer ones with the fuseblock incorporated relay centers

Re: where.what are these wires?????

Hope you guys can point my in the right direction. 1987 Iroc-Z 5.7 350. The car has been sitting for several months, it starts right up but dies after only a few seconds or if i open the throttle at all. From what I have read some times the fuel pump has a hard time priming itself. After 2 or 3 trys it wont start anymore, until about 2 days later. I am having a hard time locating the fuel pump prime connector. I couldn't find a plug like in the above picture. No owners or hanes manuel here. So I'm asking "where can i find my fuel pump prime connector!?" It seems like the car dies due to lack of fuel reaching the engine so I want to test my fuel pump. Any other info you can give would be great. Thanks everyone!

start your own thread, you'll get your answer faster then hijacking others threads. and since yours is a 87 it might not have it. but idk.
