temp sensor bad?
temp sensor bad?
I have a wiring problem in my 87 iroc, when I turn the key one the drivers side electric fan runs constantly and the passenger side doesnt come on. My temp guage is pinned the whole way. I was thinking maybe the temp sensor would be causing all this? any suggestions?

I Sense A Problem
Roger that.
A defective sensor or a broken connection.

Re: I Sense A Problem
The gauge sender is in the drivers side head, check the connection
When connected, gauge function is easily tested, grounding the connector to the block should put the gauge at full left, no connection is full right.
The fan switch is in the same location but in the pass side head. Again, check connection.
If that's not the problem, there's a short to ground in that wire.
