Re: Camaro with no key
You probably either dont have VATS, or have it bypassed. And it sounds like you need to replace your ignition lock cylinder.

Re: Camaro with no key
I believe the series of resistors you need totals 875kilo ohm, the unit of measurement for resistance is an ohm. my ignition grenaded and i wired resistors from the electronic shop together (in series)then wired them soldered this configuration between the wires that are in the ignition on the steering column. (When you take apart the ignition it will be obvious))The original key has a resistor in it that would allow the car to start, by using what i say it should fool the computer and you only need a regular key to start the car. If I find my old broken key i will measure the resistance and post so hopefully i am right. The resistors might cost ya 10 bucks.

Re: Camaro with no key
Might want to call a locksmith and let them figure it out. My locksmith charges me 40.00 for a reg key. 100.00 for a chip key. but then again i get a discount cuz i own a towing business. u might want to show the locksmith the original ignition and see if he can help you. GOOD LUCK!!
