Re: NEED PINOUTS !!

well i hooked the connectors to the column and there are 2 plugs left. both #919 thick purple. it says to wire to NSS on column or if using floor shifter, me, jump together and route to NSS then onto the starter solenoid???
i wonder if i can just hook them together and forget it?? would that be like bypassing the NSS??

On GM cars those wires are the P/N input to the computer for idle adjustments .
Typical GM NSS wiring is yellow and purple wires on the NSS at base of shifter ( auto ) or at the clutch safety switch ( man )
Purple wire could be green if car has VATS and starter enable relay
If auto will also have another pair of wires for backup lights so there will be 3 pairs on NSS

Exactly
One of the purples should run to the starter solenoid and the other should be hot when key in start position?
