So my horn, dome light aren't working and i've read that it could be from a blown acc fuse. Now i can't find which one that is. I can't find a fuse diagram anywhere for an 86. Can somebody please give me the location on the panel!

I can tell you it's a 15 amp, so that will narrow the search. If you can't find it, pull them all one at a time and check.

Re: Acc fuse location
Same fuse works radio, lighter, power mirrors and locks, third brake lights, front side marker lights as well? Is all this stuff out? I've had a similar problem. Let me know if replacing the fuse results in it rapidly popping again. If replacing the fuse works well, great!

found the location and its not blown. The car doesnt have a radio and the doors are off so i can't check the mirrors or locks. The hatch is off too. (repainting everything/body work) So no 3rd brake light. All i know is that the horn did work prior to the trans swap and now doesn't. Maybe the wires off the starter? I read that somewhere, just dont know which to check or what to look for. Thanks for the help.

Tranny swap huh? Did you get the ground straps reconnected properly? There is a ground strap that comes off the top pass side engine-to-tranny bolt. There's also a ground strap from rear pass head to body - maybe you missed one of those or maybe they need a bit of sanding where they connect to get a good connection.

Not sure if it makes a difference but i have a 350 truck engine in the car and honestly I dont remember taking and ground wires off when i removed and installed the trans. But anyway I put the doors and hatch back on and no power locks/mirrors. Dont have a 3rd brake anymore so that doesnt matter. But the cig lighter is working and so is hatch release and like i said no blown fuse. Is there something i'm missing here?

No fuse blown. Got any other ideas since you've had this happen?
Apprecite any info!
