Have a 86 irocz 28 350 carburated i use everlast batterys and the batterys always die why? i have a full underbody neon kit and strobe lights in front and back could it be the alt nt being big enough if so wat size do i need? is the size i have fine just need an optima battery or something like it? could it just be the alts bad?

You can have the charging system tested for free at advance or autozone - have them test it with EVERYTHING turned on and see what they say. They should also be able to test for any draw that occurs when everything is off, so you'll know if you have a parasitic drain.
Might be that like you said, you need a higher amp alternator. I believe you can get 140 amp Powermaster's at summit racing, anout $200 though.

thnk i may have found the problem the bolts connecting the solinoid to the starter were loose when i took it in to oreilys to have it tested they said tht probably caused the draining nt the accessory lights
