Cooling fan "shut off switch"
I want to be able to turn off the single cooling fan on my 90' camaro so it doesn't run when I listen to the subs after turning off the engine. I recently installed a 160 degree fan switch sensor in the head and a 160 degree thermostat. It works great keeping the engine running cooler but the fan runs a lot more now. What would be the best way to wire in a switch to shut off the fan with the ignition switch in the position to run the sub system and not have the fan on drawing power or making noise?

Re: Cooling fan "shut off switch"
Your radio system is wired wrong - you should be able to listen to the radio with the switch in the ACC position (all the way back), and the cooling fan won't run in that position. Are you using the stock wiring harness for the radio? If not, then I'm assuning you stuck a wire under a fuse - put a standard 1/4 in spade male connector on the radio power wire and plug it in the fusebox in the empty slot marked RADIO with an arrow pointing to the empty slot.
