I have two knock sensors but no fan switch. Can I just crimp the knock sensor into the fan switch? They look like the same connector just different colored wires.

Do you not have a fan switch module or provision for one on the passenger side head?
I dont suggest you tie the knock sensor (on the block) to the ground activated fan switch. Keep the two seperate. They are intended to work independently of each other for their own purpose.

Re: can i use this for the fan switch??
what i mean is that the pigtail piece for the fan switch is broken off and I have a spare pigtail for the knock that I wanted to know If i could just use that to replace it with.
I went to the junkyard but they had no 3rd gen firebirds or camaros there
. so I looked on other cars with v8 chevys and I could only find the blue knock sensor on them.. so I got one of those just incase it could work.
