Re: Vats bypass chip?
wel first you need to know the original resistor value of your car.
I think there where 15 diffirent value's
In Kilo ohms
1———— 0.402
2———— 0.523
3———— 0.681
4————-0.887
5————-1.130
6————-1.470
7————-1.870
8————-2.370
9————-3.010
10————3.740
11————4.750
12————6.040
13————7.500
14————9.530
15————11.801
anyway, search under your dash for 2 thin white wires in an orange tube ( I thought )
it will have a connector in it somehwere, disconnect this connector.
now you can cut of the side of the connector that goes 2 the sterringwheel, take this part to your workdesk. and solder the right resistor between those 2 white wires.
plug in the new connector you just made with the resistor, and put your key in the On position. if you used the right resistor value the security light should go out again.
of its not right its 1 of the other 15 value's and you should use another resistor.

Re: Vats bypass chip?
Need to manually bypass the starter enable relay that was controlled by VATS module ;as above unit only supplies the correct signal to the ECM for the injectors

I found this on eBay. It may be the easiest solution:

Can get other changes done at same time / cost.
Change fan operating temps , delete emissions , change torque convertor lock up
Anything that is shown in the order sheet list above

I bought keys from this company. If you don't know which key you need, you can mail your key to them. They will decide which key you need and send it to you.
