Removed blower motor and all a/c, what to do with wiring?
Hello all.
Wanting to clean up and tidy my engine bay a bit on my '82 trans am. So I decided to start with removing blower motor and air con stuff on the firewall. Now I'm left with a small wiring harness. (pic1)
Now, I won't ever be replacing the Air/Con, so just wondering if I can snip the wires and tape them up never to be seen again...
It won't affect anything else if I snip them will it? Because there is about 6 colorful wires that go into a hole in the firewall (pic2)
and then there is one that goes to behind the distributor somewhere, (pic3) does this connect to anything???
Any help or advice would be really appreciated. Thanks in advance....

Nope - won't hurt anything. BUT - if you ever want heat, might leave them intact and tuck them away - you'll need them if you ever install the A/C delete box - t ru the fan for the heater.
You'll also want to seal up those holes - great place for a rats nest, bee hive, etc.
