Brights will not turn off?
Ever since i bought this car two months ago the brights always say they are on in the dash, what i found out was that they are always on the brights were just unplugged, and the switch does not click at all what i was wondering was a fix for this the blinkers did work but now the driver side only works, i push up on the blinker switch and the blinker does not come on, all it does is come back down does not stay in place if i hold the switch up but not all the way the blinker works, does this mean i need a new blinker switch....and when u pull down on the steering wheel it comes down like it is loose then will go back up......just wondering if there is maybe something that must need tightened inside the column... please need some advise so i get to getting this fixed..

i had the same problem with mine just fixed it yesterday, you will have to pull the steering wheel off take the lockplate and turn signal switch off, on the left bottom there is a large hole you can look in it and see the screw it is brass color you will need a reverse torx socket to tighten it up. as far as the high beems there is a rod that goes down the left side of the steering col and goes into the dimmer switch check and make sure it is going into the switch.

the rod is on the left side of the steering column remove the cover that is were the tilt lever is behind the turn signal lever you should see the rod it runs down the column from there to the bottom and goes in the dimmer switch

Re: Brights will not turn off?
Dimmer switch is above the brake pedal, on the steering column on the underside - if you look there while moving the high beam switch, you'll see the rod moving into/out of the switch. The switch has two small screws, loosen them and slide the switch to adjust, then retighten (be careful, they strip easily).
Make sure to adjust the hi beam switch with your tilt wheel in the position it will be in when you drive - there's no way to get the hi beam switch adjusted just right so that it works at all tilt positions.

Push the black plastic piece in that is behind the multi function switch, then click your brights.
