I recently installed a rebuilt wiring harness in my 92Z along with a rebuilt engine. It just occured to me that though the injector wiring pretty much lays about where it used to be that I may have somehow crossed one over the other. I don't currently have a way to determine this.

Is there a way to know which connector goes to which injector? The Haynes book is a bit confusing as far as wiring colors.

A diagram with colors would really help.

They are batch fired, it doesn't matter which one is on where, as long as they are all on.

 

Left and right banks are batch fired seperately.

Injectors on driver's side will have a black/pink wire and a dark blue.

Injectors on the passenger's side will have a black/pink wire and a dark green.

 

I understand the banks firing seperately, the wiring is set up in sets of two, two going to 1-2, 3-4, 5-6, 7-8. My question is, according to you color scheme, does 1 and 3 get black/pink or dark blue and the same with 2 and 4?

Am I explaining this correctly, I am trying to determine which injector gets which plug.
