Headlight operation.... is this correct?
I'm new to 'birds so forgive me if this is common knowledge.
I am under the impression that the marker lights on my '91 can be turned on WITHOUT the headlights going up... is this correct?
Currently, if I just turn the parking lights on, my headlights pop up. I didn't think they were supposed to.

Blow Its Door Off
Somehow power is getting to the Headlight Door Module when its not supposed to.
It might be a faulty headlight switch.
Using a voltmeter or test light (the type for testing for voltage, not a continuity tester) probe the brown wire at the headlight switch.
Is there power there when the headlight switch is in the marker lights position?
If yes, disconnect the brown wire at the switch.
Is there STILL power there when the headlight switch is in the marker lights position?
If yes, replace the switch.

I had that issue before. It was the switch causing it on mine. I figured it out because the lights would vary depending on how hard I pressed the switch itself. Then it stopped responding to the varying pressures. Swapped out the switch and haven't had that issue again.
