Turn Signal Help

Hey guys, my turn signals blink really fast and I can't figure out why. I've replaced all 4 bulbs, and the fuse under the the dash but it still flashes fast. Any ideas?

I Think, Therefore I Blink

If the problem started before you replaced the bulbs it might be the blinker went defective, therefore try swapping it for a new one.

If the problem started after you replaced the bulbs it’s because the current draw is different than the previous bulbs.

It was before. It has done that ever since I've owned the car. So the part inside the steering column is what would be bad?

The part you’re looking for is the turn signal flasher which is clipped onto the fuse panel, as delivered from the factory.

It’s round and approximately 1¼” diameter.

However if it has been replaced it might just be hanging in the maze of wires.

The Fuse Panel is located behind a door which is approximately up and to the left of the brake pedal.

Re: Turn Signal Help

You dont have LEDs in the turn signals, do you?Sometimes that'll increase the flash rate.Ive seen the flasher closer to(but not on) the convenience center.Other times directly on the conv center.Either way the c.c is to the right of the steering column.

You can try swapping the emergency flasher (on the conv center) with the turn signal flasher.See if that fixes the issue, but then the emegency lights will have the fast rate!

Personally i like the faster rate.Makes it more noticeable.

I know where it is. But if that's the problem I'll just leave it, too much of a hassle to get it out.

Nope, no LEDs on the car yet.
