The source in the fuse box James is referring to has a single slot - a fuse requires 2 slots (fuses have 2 prongs) - so no, you don't put in a fuse - you simply crimp a 1/4in male spade connector onto your wire, and stick it in the slot.
Now - you need to determine if this 12v+ wire you need to connect is 1) the power wire to 'activate' the relay (low amp), or 2) the power wire to run the fans (high amp).
If it's 1, then any 12v+ connection is fine - I wouldn't bother trying to run a wire into the car for it - just find any wire under the hood that has 12v+ when the key is on.
If it's 2, then you definitely do not want to run a wire into the cabin - you need a large guage wire to hold the high amperage draw of the fans (12+ amps), and you don't want to run such a large wire into the car cabin, you want to keep it outside under the hood - so connect to the battery directly (or the power distribution center or the starter).
Now - you stated they want a wire connected to a 12v+ source that is hot-in-run - so I'm pretty sure you just need #1 above - but I wanted you to stop and think about it first to make double sure you're not going to wire incorrectly and cause a melted wire or worse a fire.
