Car spins but wont run unless you jump

My 2002 trans am will spin over but will not run unless you jump it i put a new battery and new cables. Even tried the battery out of a freind of mines car just to be sure. Im not sure if its a ground problem or maybe a short or something. the alternator is putting out 14.8v. The car it will cranks up on its own for a little while after the jump but if you wait about 15 mins it starts back just spinning. Im not sure what to check. Someone please help lol

Re: Car spins but wont run unless you jump

Starter should have 1 smaller terminal that only gets one wire (in a 3rd gen it's purple). ALL other wires got to the larger terminal, including the positive batt cable.

Other than that, you're going to have to find a 4th gen board maybe - some of us 3rd gen guys have some 4th gen knowledge, but you're really limiting yourself asking here.
