beam light on dash and headlights won't pop up
hi guys - parking up today I put my full beams on (with the tell tale light between the indicator lights - 1990 GTA)
Then I couldn't turn it off - really tried to pull the stalk unit back but it just wouldn't go off - so I turned the headlights off - now they won't go back up!??
When I press the headlight switch in the beam tell-tale is there but he headlights do not go up?
Any ideas guys
thanks

your headlight motor might be gone on your car try using a multimeter to test the headlight motors

thanks for the input - yeah was geared up to check the headlight motors (though unusual for both to go) and today got in the car - pulled the stalk back and it clicked off the beam and the headlights went up fine???
Will keep a close eye but maybe the beginnings of a bad beam switch
thanks

The angle of the steering column can affect the hi/lo switch. It may need adjusting. Mine only works with the steering wheel tilted up. It's on the list to be fixed.
