Rain Pain

Open the wiper motor unit.

Apply 12 volts to the
purple wire.

If the motor is good it will run, then you can probe the wires at the steering column connector.

The connector is a flattish type with about 11 wires.

Using a voltmeter or test light
(the type for testing for voltage, not a continuity tester) probe the
16 AWG WHITE wire entering the steering column to see if it has power when the key is in the RUN position.

If it does, turn the wiper switch to the HI position, then probe the
purple wire, then the gray wire.

Each should have power.

If not, see if your wiper switch is getting voltage in.

Voltage enters the switch VIA a
16 AWG white wire.

If it isn’t getting voltage in, trace it back to the fuse.

If it is getting voltage in, see if it puts out voltage when you cycle the switch.

Happy Racing!
