Turn Signal Problems.
I have an 86 firebird.
I'm trying to figure out what is wrong with my turn signals.
My emergency flashers are fine and all bulbs are new
the things that are wierd to me is
1-with the head lights off and with turn signal in either direction, on the rear lights the lights flash but the other side flashes entremely low. on the front they both stay lit.
2- with the head lights on they dont flash at all nothing happens and the inside green arrows stay lit.
and with all this the flashers are new and bulbs are new i just cant figure out whats wrong. The switch on the collumn is fine it works great dont have a problem with that.
any help would be fantastic

you may have a bad ground somewhere look into the wireing schematic and find out where the ground it for that circut im not sure if its the same one for the headlights or not make sure it has a good ground..

bad ground or worn harness. i would check the wires as best as you can. if possible use a dvom to measure and check for voltage drop or if possible look and see what the resistance is. if you do it for each lamp you might be able to find your problem. had a similar issue with my 92.

also try replacing your signal flasher relays there round two pronged and plug into one of the fuse blocks if you listen when your turn signal is on they should make a click click noise that is the electrical circuit opening and closing to make the light flash if those are worn out ya ain't gonna get nothing hope that helps you chase down the problem electrical gremlins can sure suck *** I know.
